A little sneaky peek of my latest!
While I TOTALLY love doing Boudoir, I cannot stand having to pose people. It doesn't come naturally to me and it certainly isn't natural to my client. But we do our best and make it work! Raimi, who is my hairstylist by the way (and an awesome one!) struggled with how to look, the best thing I can do is catch you when you are being yourself. While certain things need to be posed, the expression should be all you! Otherwise, it just won't work! Here she was being herself and it's beautiful!

The Maple Leaf Challenge
Ok guys and gals, I (we-MLM) need your help spreading the word to families about The Maple Leaf Mission!!! There are massive amounts of applications flowing in from photographers and families alike BUT I KNOW we can reach more people... So I am going to challenge everyone to help us spread the word, via Facebook, in your community, etc... If you would like flyers to hand out, let me know, I'll get them!!! I am in the process of gathering as much info on media outlets in all the states that I can, BUT if you have any info you can send me from your area PLEASE DO!!!
MLM offers three types of sessions;
"Your Moment Sessions" for those who have been diagnosed with debilitating diseases, genetic disorders or are in remission from cancer who are fighting the fight and living life to it's fullest!!! If you aren't sure you qualify, apply, MLM will notify you and let you know whether or not you do...
"Final Moment Sessions" (I got chills just typing that) These sessions are for families who want to capture the last moments of their loved ones life, not necessarily the very final moment, but the moments being shared before that time comes...
Talk about MLM, you never know who you will meet that qualifies for a session... I had 3 sessions in the first week and I''m still sending people over because there are soooo many disorders that qualify...
Send me information for media outlets in your area (outside of Grand Junction) so I can get that information back to the MLM board and hopefully get exposure this way as well...
Do you have products you can donate for fundraisers??? Ideas for fundraisers???

Military families, any information you can send our way would be great... I am extremely eager to do these sessions for the men and women who serve our country!!!
What does this cost you might ask... Well, It is 100% free!!! Each family will receive 10 images on a CD as well as their choice of 1-8x10 or 2-5x7's... And final moment sessions will receive a DVD of all images set to the music of their choice...

My Little Angel Turns 5 - Happy Birthday Maddie!!!
It's hard to believe just how fast time goes by... Five years ago on January 24, 2006, we welcomed our beautiful angel, Madison Paige Burns, into the world... She has changed me in MANY ways and taught me to be a better person, despite all the trying times we've had lol... I just wanted to share some beautiful pics we captured of her today... Some I fought tooth and nail to get and others she moved me out of the way and took control... This child is truly MY child and I have no one to blame for her dominating personality except myself... :D Because she was my inspiration for the current giveaways, I feel it only fair to share with you all one of the greatest joys of my life (and so you can see the face of the girl who is responsible for it all :D)
